All one through six weight rods have a reverse half-wells cork grip. All 6/7 or seven weight rods and larger have an anodized aluminum reel seat and a full-wells cork grip. All rods come with a cordura nylon covered rod case with built-in dividers at no additional cost.

Elkhorn Nomad Series Fly RodsThese rods are very similar to our regular "Traveler" Series four piece rods. The primary differences are in the reel seat skeleton and the finish on the blank itself. The reel seat skeleton is a tough gunmetal-titanium colored anodized aluminum and have beautiful rosewood inserts (seven and eight weights have saltwater style seats with a fighting butt). These Nomad rods have a moderate action and progressive flex and are a very easy loading, smooth casting and powerful rods.
