Among this series are the shortest and most sensitive rods we build. Ultra-light weight, but with enough backbone to produce accurate casts in tight conditions. A real joy when pursuing small trout or panfish. Nickel-silver hardware and polished rosewood inserts are standard features on our Western Series rods (cork inserts used on 1 and 2 weights).

Heavier rods up to nine weight are available for traditionalists who prefer a two-piece rod. These rods are medium-fast action rods.
