Classic mid flex taper, very light in your hand. Elkhorn Split bamboo rods are based on classic tapers that are considered by modern day purists to be some of the finest casting rods ever made. All bamboo rods come with two matched tips and a rugged powder-coated aluminum rod tube with matching brass end caps and a cotton rod sock. Three and four weight rods are available with cork reel seat inserts. Five weight models have a Birdseye maple reel seat insert.
